Our Experience:

Sunday morning Breakfast Out!  We look forward to it every week!  Many days we go to Bob Evans (my husband is in love with their biscuits and gravy), but we decided to try Rodie's Pancake House.  We'd passed it on Alternate 19 on our way to Clearwater or on our way back home many many times, but had never eaten there.  (There are so many restaurants like that it seems).  We always say, "We should try that place!"  And then we never get around to it, so this time....we got around to it!  We've been there twice since!

It had to be good, after all it always looks packed when we drive by - as it was that day.  After seeing all the people waiting I was worried that it would be a long wait, but in fact it took no more than 10 minutes!  To me that's a miracle when there were about 30 people waiting for a table with a packed dining room!

We sat down and the waitress took our drink order almost immediately.  There menu is large and a little overwhelming at first, so if you are like my dad - he just told them what he wanted and they figured out which meal it was.  Less thinking on our part - that's good.  Food arrived quickly and the service was very good.  It was a busy place!!

Now on to our favorite part - the food!  Now my husband is very picky about his biscuits and gravy so much so he is afraid to actually order it thinking he will be disappointed, so I ordered it for myself and let him try mine!  Just like Grandma's Kitchen!  The Gravy tastes like homemade - Bravo!  My mother who ordered also loved her country fried steak and the gravy as well.  My favorite however was the breakfast skillet.  Probably the best breakfast skillet I have eaten anywhere.

So to sum it up the food was great, service was great and I think we are about to go eat breakfast there again this morning!
