Our Experience:
OK, can you blame me? We picked an oldie but a goodie! Oldie meaning - the Deli News Cafe is already well known around town for its infamous Cuban Pressed Sandwich. We too must agree with the Weekly Planet when they say its the "Best Cuban Sandwich" in the bay. And the yellow rice and black beans are always a must. That aside - it was the Chicken Salad Sandwich that really knocked our socks off!

Now we've been to the Deli News Cafe before - its a favorite of ours, but we had never tried the Chicken Salad Sandwich. I know you're thinking - "It's chicken salad...how good can it be?" Well darn good that's what! Its the shredded cheddar cheese and cashews that give it the extra touch! |

One of our favorite things about Deli News is their unique building. It is an old garage service station that has been completely renovated with a POP ART feel. The walls are covered with humorous murals and comic strips to keep you entertained while you eat. You can sit inside or outside on their patio.
Its a great place to go for lunch and then take a stroll along the shops in downtown Dunedin. Deli News we give you our two thumbs up or feathers I guess since we are "snowbirdies"!
